Botulinum toxin (Botulinum Toxin Type A) removes wrinkles caused by facial expressions and allows for eyebrow lifting, with effects lasting about 5 months. Mechanical or chemical peels and laser treatments improve skin quality and diminish fine lines and acne scars by removing damaged superficial skin layers and promoting cell regeneration. Hyaluronic acid fillers and autologous fat injections correct deep wrinkles, marked nasolabial folds, and safely enhance lip and cheek volume. Fillers should be administered by a certified plastic surgeon, as many permanent fillers can cause granulomas and frequent complications.
The plastic surgeon will identify the appropriate muscles among the 43 existing facial muscles to inject small amounts of Botulinum Toxin using very fine needles. Only those muscles directly involved with the expression lines in question will be weakened, while ensuring the natural appearance of the face and/or neck is preserved.
Factors to consider include the patient’s age, skin thickness and degree of sagging, ethnic background, and the number of expression lines to be treated.
Through computer imaging and/or diagnostic radiographs.
Ideally, overall health should be optimal. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in cases of multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, muscular weakness, deep scars, drooping eyelids, and skin problems in the areas intended for injections.
Enhance the face with a more youthful appearance by reducing expression lines while always ensuring a natural result.
The application takes twenty to thirty-five minutes.
Local application with lidocaine ointment.
Results are observed within three to five days, depending on the patient.
